how frustrating!
Am very low on energy at the moment, I'm not too sure where it all went but it's gone!
Today I built this. I was VERY proud of myself! Will post a photo of it in real life.
Did a cute little LO last week about my and my partner's love of the Battleships game. Haven't uploaded the pics yet, so I'll post a different layout and post the Battleship one later on the weekend.
mm, I can't actually see these picutres here at work. But they're of the same page the photo has a hidden hinge and opens to reveal the more personal journalling. Paper is black that came out of the page protectors, paint and stamps are Making Memories as are teh black rubons. The title for this layout is "Chill". I got my Meredith Music Festival tix in the post and got all scrappy! I can't wait and have almost started counting the days. Certainly the weeks, just 10 more to go!!!

Day in the Life

Today I took some photos of a day in the life of Alison, with any luck I'll have them printed and scrapped in 6 months time - not really although it is a potential. Will be trying to get them printed on the weekend and maybe even scrapping them as well. Not the most original project but I always love other people's and as with all things life is not stationary and will change change change. Besides I like my little schedule.

I found a new scrapbook store today in Hampton Park. It's fantastic, but don't tell the lady from my regular store. She's cheaper, has a brighter store and seems enthusiastic, plus she's got a heaps bigger range and puts stuff on sale more often!! I spent $150 there and then went to the regular store and spent another 100$. I must scrap this weekend to make up for it!

I got the most BEAUTIFUL stamps today, can't remember the brand but they're cute little stick figure birdies and flowers. Just stunning. I've got ideas revolving around stazon ink and transparencies!!

Am posting the only two layouts I have on file here at work. The Belly Ring one is fairly self explainitory in theme, used Bazzill cardstock (orange peel), making memories paint, some random no-name brand ribbon, arrow is a cut up postcard, pens are Posca and one random gel roller.

The Touched LO is in tribute to a lost friend. She came and went without telling anyone she wanted to leave. Bazzill cardstock in white oragen peel, I stuck down a heap of random textures, those that were coloured I painted white - paper clips, sticky tape, a dragon fly and some buttons, used crackle medium randomly over the white areas and then painted everything black, there is an envelope the inside of which is painted white. Used rubons of a brand I don't remember and Heidi Swapp masks for the touched letters. the text reads 'We were Touched'.

Simply HAD to show it off, although I am totally fantastic, I don't very often, in my opionion, photograph well. But I acknoledge that I'm as young and hot as I'll ever be and not thinking that now is only cheating myself.

Seeing as I mentioned him ...

'Him' being the boyf that I've gushed over a tiny bit in my profile and first post, who (incidently) hasn't msged me in like well over a day now - whats the go with that honey? gah!
Annnnnnnyways, as I was saying, seeing as I mentioned the pretty (stupid-head) boy, I was thinking I'd post a picture of him so he's online for all the world to see.
Have just uploaded a heap of random photos to photobucket so should have a few things to post over the next week or 2. Not that you care yet because there is no 'you' just at the moment, but oh there will be mwahahahahaha.... mmm. well, we hope there will be and if not meh, do be it, none of this is costing me anymore money then it would have anyways!

I'm New!

Hello World

This is my newest space.

I felt left out and wanted a blog too.

I like craft. I like Music Festivals. I like photography - although I'm not very good yet.

I work in an insurence call centre - we're a good one.

I just spent an hour staring at google earth and looking for places I know.

I have a many dreams, I wanna be a comedian, I wanna be a 'celebrity' scrapbooker, I wanna be a mum and be able to afford to be the other too as well without having to go to work.
I want to own my own home, a holiday home, an investment property, caravan and a car powerful enough to pull it.

I don't expect any of these dreams to come to pass without a lot of hard work and determination. I want that too.

In the mean time I'm gonna go to work and work hard, spend time creating pretties, go out not with the intention of finding crazy experiences but knowing that every experience I have is interesting in it's detail and enjoy every moment with my boyfriend as an unmarried/unengaged couple who are head over heels in love and looking forward to the continuation of our relationship.

And ofcourse enjoy documenting all of that progress here. Or at least thats the idea.
